Dear Moms and Friends in the Community,

 I would like to invite you to participate in our

 2009 CalWORKs Cares Food, Toy & Clothes Drive

We are collecting food, toys and clothes to give to our students and their families on Monday, December 7, 2009. We have over 400 students who all have children. They are striving to obtain a better education and thus become self-sufficient.

It is hard economically for everyone, but for them even more. Some can't even afford to buy a turkey while some are looking for a home in which to even cook one.

We would be grateful for any donation that you can give. I am daily inspired by the words of Bob Pierce, "Don't fail to do something because you can't do everything."

I can pick up your donations and provide you with more information if you would like.
