GRANDPARENTS DAY AT FAIRYTALE TOWN

Grandparents have always had a special role at Fairytale Town.   On Sunday, September 7, Fairytale Town will celebrate Grandparents Day by offering free park admission for grandparents with each grandchild's paid admission.

"Grandparents play a pretty important role in children's lives," says Kathy Fleming, Fairytale Town's executive director.   "We want to encourage young children and their families to spend time with their grandparents - and Fairytale Town is a great place to do just that!"

Recently voted Sacramento's best place for family bonding by Nickelodeon's ParentsConnect.com, Fairytale Town offers a wide array of possibilities for intergenerational fun.    With the Crooked Mile, Jack and the Beanstalk, the Alphabet Garden, and so much more, children won't know what to show grandma and grandpa next!

The event is sponsored by ScholarShare, California's 529 College Savings Plan.
