Moms'-R-Us, a free mother’s support group for women who are raising children of all ages, prepares for a new year of friendship, support, fun activities and learning how to be the best parents we can be. Moms'-R-Us is a ministry of the Orangevale church of Christ located at 5915 Main Ave, in Orangevale. Mothers/Grandmothers who are raising children/grandchildren are invited to join! The group will meet Tuesday mornings from 9:30am -11:30am beginning September 9th at the Orangevale church building. Free child care will be provided for infants up to two years old. A Christian based Preschool Program will be provided for children 3-5 years old, while mothers are attending the support group. Free of charge as well.
Kicking off their year will be the eagerly anticipated “Welcome Back & Get Acquainted Barbeque for Families”. It will feature a barbecue and volleyball for all, as well as jump houses for the children. The event will be held Saturday, September 6th from 6-8:30pm at above address. Meat and beverages will be provided. Families are asked to bring either a side dish or dessert. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun, get acquainted with last year’s moms group and come to learn about this year’s exciting program.
