Balancing motherhood and a career are no easy task, even when you work for yourself. Female entrepreneurs don't always know where to begin with their work, especially when they have little ones to care for at the same time. Beth Feldman is a "mom-preneur" and the founder of Role Mommy (www.rolemommy.com).

Feldman provides some suggestions to help moms find success in entrepreneurial work:

• Visit Ladies Who Launch (www.ladieswholaunch.com) to hear stories about entrepreneurs who achieved their goals. You can also join the site and communicate with other entrepreneurs through the new social network located there.

• Create a blog or try BlogTalkRadio (www.blogtalkradio.com) to gain publicity for whatever it is you want to advertise.

• Create your own store on Soc Exchange (www.thesocexchange.com). The Soc Exchange charges $1 a month if you choose to create a Web page through them. It is an inexpensive way to get your products out there.

• Go to Make Mine a Million (www.makemineamillion.org) for financial and other advice you may need to turn your business into something bigger.

• Use programs like Mac Freelance or QuickBooks to keep your financial information in order, especially if you cannot afford a full time accountant.

• Become a member of LinkedIn and Facebook in order to reap the benefits of networking.
