I am the mother of a 9 year old son and 8 year old stepdaughter.  I've been married for almost 2 years and have recently moved back to my old "hood".  I work almost full time, but have flexible hours so I can spend time with the kids and their numerous activities.  The kids are the joy of my life - my son has a very charismatic personality and surprises me daily with his humor, insight and sweetness.  My stepdaughter is sweet, energetic and very engaging.  Together they are quite a force - they play outside for hours and are always coming up with interesting experiments, games and activities to keep us on our toes.
