Well, I met Kaity when she was 4, and we hit it off right away. She's now six, going on 18 at times. :) We are both only children and left handed, so that gave us an instant bond.
Outside of figuring out this parenting stuff, I am into sci-fi and fantasy books, I love to do Henna, I have been working Ren Faire since I was 16 and I majored in Theater. Now I work at Sac State. :) I have 1 cat, Bongo, and he is my baby. He's 16 and a sweethart.
Originally from Chicago, I've been living in NorCal since April of 2000. I love it here, and hope to be here the rest of my life.
Looking for tips and advice from parents and other step-parents. It's always tricky knowing when you can step in and when you can't with the whole step parent thing.
