Escape the heat of the Sacramento summer by playing in the snow at Raley Field, the coolest place around! Winter comes early as the River Cats and Interstate Batteries bring a free "Snow Day" to Raley Field before Friday’s game. From 5:00-8:00 p.m., one of the Raley Field parking lots will be transformed into a snow park, complete with a sled run and a kids area for snow-ball play and snow-man building. Friday is also Family Fun Friday, with $1 hot dogs and $1 ice creams all game long. A custom-built scaffolding ramp surface will be covered with snow with a 1/4 pipe at the bottom. All participants will be required to sign a liability waiver, and Snow sled goers must be 18 or have a waiver signed by a legal parent/guardian.
