Elk Grove Parents Unite to Supply Their Students with Gear New Schools’ Boosters Burst on Scene with a Huge Fireworks Sales Bang!   Booth Opens June 28th,  Noon-10pm Booth Hours June 29-July 4th  8am-10pm   (Elk Grove, CA) In light of the state budget crunch and quickly depleting funds for extracurricular activities, parents at Elk Grove’s Cosumnes Oaks High and Elizabeth Pinkerton Middle School have joined forces to raise funds to ensure their kids activities don’t suffer.  They’re raising money for uniforms and other gear by selling fireworks.  Parents and students from their schools’ athletic teams, music and arts programs and clubs will happily accept Cash and Credit Cards for your purchase at Laguna Blvd. and Franklin next to Big Spoon Yogurt in the Shopping Center anchored by Safeway.  Pre-sold scrip (coupons sold by the student's and parents) will also be redeemed at the booth.  The booth opens...
