I have always appreciated that my 4 year old dressed up as "princess" for the first 3 years of her life with a purple tutu, a clown hat, and a cowgirl vest. Seriously, I don't know how the girls are hardwired for all the princess crap. I tried so hard to avoid it. Today I was in the airport and struck up a conversation with a mom traveling with her 3 year old. It ended with me saying "I actually hate you for the fact that her hair is not only brushed, but dons a bow as well." I'm lucky if my girls will let me stand 10 feet from them with a brush in hand. They are so raggedy. Good luck!
