I am a single mom of a 10 year old and 4 month old. I am 4'10 and for the last few years I weighed 164 pound (BMI 35-38). Although I walked 1 mile each 15 minute break I coud not lose weight. I did not know I was pregnant til i was 5 months along and during the last 4 months I has gestational diabetics, high blood pressure, anemia and depression. I gained only 15 pounds and after labor dropped down to 145 pounds. I am feeling better now and have stopped taking blood pressure pills and iron supplements but am starting to gain the weight back, I am at 154 pounds. When I can get a neighbor to go with me (usually 2-3xs a week) we will walk about a mile around the neighborhood but I know I can and shoud do more. I am worried about the weight gain because this week my lower back has been aching me and I haven't had lower back pain since I have been off of work. I know that a structure fitness plan will motivate to exercise more and doing so...
