wifemotherdaughtersister , I know when I go a few days withouth anything processed, I do feel like I'm de-toxing. That right there should be a signal of something wrong! YIKES!!! I loved picturing the fry chant in the car. Oh man. That's a good one (or bad I guess). It made me laugh though.
Rinkus68 , I TOTALLY hear what you're saying about the bathroom runs (litterally!) We quit eating at McD's and KFC just for those reasons. You're the only other person I've met who's heard of the slow foods movement. Cool! I think I'll start it as a thread in the "Talk" section so we can elaborate some more with each other.
hmoeckli , you make a really great point about we're so lucky (food wise) for living here. We are indeed surrounded by wonderful, local fresh foods. I still can't get over the Canadian tomatoes in Sacramento. How totally strange! I wonder if they have Sacramento tomatoes there? Something wrong with that picture. Imagine all the gallons of gas it took to get...
