My office produces an annual awards show in Hollywood so I've had the pleasure of meeting Stevie Wonder, John Landis (I gushed over the work he did on Michael Jackson's Thriller video), Barry Manilow, Joe Mantegna, James Avery, Jason George, Mindy Sterling (LOVE The Office), Camryn Manheim, Robert Guiallme, etc. At concerts I've met Brian Mcknight and Beyonce.
But my fun celebrity stories are the ones where I have no idea who the heck the person is. In 2000, I was standing in line back stage at a concert waiting to get Brian McKnight's autograph. My friend went to the bathroom and I started to make small talk with the guys behind me. They were super tall so I broke the ice by saying, "either I'm very short (I'm 5 feet) or you guys are very tall." We start talking about random stuff like the weather and what we ate for dinner and then I blurted out, "not to stereotype you or anything but have you ever thought about playing basketball?"
