I met Danny Thomas and his wife Mary. I had a friend who played for the LA Dodgers. He used to leave me tickets so that I could attend and Mr. Thomas was a huge baseball fan. My tickets were in the same area as the wives, which is also where Mr. Thomas and his wife always sat. One day I got up the nerve to go and speak to him. Both he and his wife, Mary, were very nice. From then on whenever I attended a ball game I would sit with them. It is one of my most pleasant memories.
