Your "grammie" sounds just like my Nana. I too spent the week driving everyone around, listening to my teen whine the whole time, spent a fortune on resteraunts and gas, and shopped till I dropped. I'm SOOO happy to be home today, I could kiss my couch.
Like you, it only comes once a year though. I told myself that all week!
