Yep, it's IEP meeting time. What's an IEP, you ask? It's an Individualized Education Program. Bee has one, as he has a speech/language delay, and sensory issues. Oh, and gross/fine motor skills delays. So tomorrow morn, we'll gather 'round the table and review his old IEP, and discuss his goals...

I keep getting this question, so let me clarify...SacMomsClub.com is not really a club in the sense that we don't have a membership roster, officers or meetings. SacMomsClub.com is more of a destination web site for families. We have "Club" in the...

Right now I am away.. I am at the Land Trust Rally in Denver, CO. This is not the first time I have been away for 4 days, but this is the hardest. I think because both of the boys are in school, and doing homework over the phone is just not the same, M the little on would not be fist...

My 3.10 month old who was completely potty trained even at night has decided that she is done with going on the potty and she wants to go in her pants like her 14 month old sister...now this started about 2 weeks ago. Despite all of my efforts, she continued to do it. So we went to her Dr...

Anyone else feel the same way? I HATE MAKING DINNER. Always have. Even before we had kids, I hated making dinner. And unfortunately, my husband is a TERRIBLE cook, so it's up to me. I don't know what it is about this meal that I detest so much. My mom was a working mom, so she rarely made dinner...

So my 13-month-old has refused to eat his vegetables. We've tried everything - broccoli with cheese sauce, green beans, roasted carrots with a little butter. All I get for my efforts is a mad little boy, some veggies thrown and an overstuffed (albeit healthful) Chihuahua and Border Collie mutt....

This recipe is from Martha Stewart's Everyday Food magazine. I gave it a whirl last night. It turned out pretty darn good. Nice change of pace from the old spaghetti and sauce routine. My two cents are in parentheses.
Ingredients:
1 2lb container part-skim ricotta cheese
1 16-oz...

Bishops - lots of activities. Bit spendy though. Everything costs extra

I survived the first week of my daughter in preschool! She didn't melt down like I thought she would after spending 3 and 1/2 straight years at home with me during the day. What she did do was open up, like a bud into a blossom. She smiled at the sight of children her age, confined in the...

Does anyone know of an affordable house for rent on the coast, preferably by the Santa Cruz area that sleeps 8-10 people? I'm trying to book one for my family and 2 other couples w/kids. Any suggestions? I don't really want to pay more than 400/night and this is for New Years. THanks!
