        <title>12 Hours to Go! - Dad for the second time! - D&apos;s Blog - SacMomsClub.com</title>
        <link>http://www.sacmomsclub.com/home/Blog/D/8116</link>
        <description>Where to start?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;As I&amp;nbsp;write this my&amp;nbsp;wife and I are enjoying our last quiet night for at least a few months.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Our two year old daughter has just gone to bed, her last night as an only child.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;In less than 12 hours we will be at the hospital awaiting the arrival of our second child, a little boy, via C-section.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; The pregnancy for us has gone as good as I could have asked.&amp;nbsp; We have had a few visits to the hospital for pre-labor contractions but were told they were caused by stress and dehydration and sent home after a few hours.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; My wife is visibly and audibly nervous about her upcoming surgery and I can hardly blame her, she is undergoing significant&amp;nbsp;surgery in just a few hours.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Our daughter was born via C-section after 23 hours of labor and two hours of hard pushing.&amp;nbsp; She just was not going to make it via the birth canal.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;So, from what I understand,&amp;nbsp;doctors&amp;nbsp;usually recommend&amp;nbsp;C-sections for subsequent children.&amp;nbsp; And that is how we find ourselves in this situation tonight.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I must say I am somewhat relieved that there is a plan this time and everything will be on a schedule as opposed to the chaos and not knowing when and what is going to happen next.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; But unlike last time we have a two-year-old little girl to worry about and make sure she is ok while we are at the hospital.&amp;nbsp; There is a lot to think about tonight and still some last minute tasks to complete.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Wish me luck!&amp;nbsp; -D-</description>

Good Luck!!!
...</title>
                <description>
Good Luck!!!
Speaking from experience the second child changes everything.. Here is some advice… 1) Make sure when you have visitors to see the newborn they bring your daughter a gift of some sort and spend time with her before seeing the newborn. 2) Make sure your daughter doesn’t try to feed the newborn plastic toys when your not looking..…
