Play School
The mom's group I am part of is in the beginning stages of creating a parent-child play school program for our toddlers, all nearing or just over the age of 1. We are considering applying for a grant for funding, and trying to decide the "play based curriculum".
We had our first meeting today. There were 14 parents attending, including one dad. Everyone shared ideas on what they would like the play school to include. Some just want an opportunity for their children to play and interact with other kids their own age. Others want a more structured approach. I left the meeting feeling a bit overwhelmed. Do you have any experience with participating in a play school with your children? 2 comments from 2 users
