Picnic at McKinley Park
Today after our walk around McKinley Park, we all stayed for a picnic. We spread out blankets and tarps on the grass underneath the large trees. It was quite a site to see at least 13 moms, their kids, strollers and gear gathered together in a large circle. The kids ranged in age from 8 weeks to nearly one year. The kids played and ate, while a few napped. All the moms enjoyed the time to relax, socialize, and grab a bite to eat, while our kids played. The weather couldn't have been more perfect, not too hot and not too cold. The sun kept peeking through the clouds every so often keeping the mood bright and cheerful.

This sounds so fun. I had the morning off and I considered stopping by. Next time.

That sounds really nice! It's good to know someone was enjoying the outdoors while I was inside haggling with teenagers. :)
