An Introduction

Hello all. My name is Mary and I've lived in the Sacramento vicinity (Auburn, Roseville, Citrus Heights and Sacramento) most of my life. I grew up in a lively household with 8 children - 5 boys and 3 girls - and all from the same parents. I know, today that's usually unheard of but we're a pretty close-knit bunch even though some of my siblings have begun to spread out to other states.

I grew up mainly in Auburn and after I got married to my best friend, Bryan we moved to Sacramento. After a few years there we moved to Roseville then finally ceased apartment life when we bought a house in Citrus Heights. Now my days are filled with time spent with my 2 children: son Sean and daughter Sara, and my husband Bryan. I try to fit in some housework and yard work but mostly the yard work gets pushed aside (a little more than I'd like). Maybe it's the baby or maybe it's the heat or maybe I'm just too lazy to get out and do it right now. Oh well, life goes on whether the weeds are pulled or not.

That's pretty much me in a nutshell. I would like to find some other women with similar interests and children of roughly the same age as my own to talk with and maybe even socialize with outside the confines of my yard. No matter how much I love and enjoy my family I think it would be nice to go out with friends again.

Until my next post...

Welcome!  How old are your kids?  My daughter is 10 1/2 months old.  I hope you enjoy this site as much as I have!

Welcome! We try and put together little coffes and mom's night out's. They're so nice to have! I hope to meet you at one. Citrus Heights is a great area. I love it there.
