kickin' halloween old school
My son is SO not into dressing up I'm starting to think it's a little odd. No spiderman, no darth vadar...nuthin'. He was going to be nuthin' for Halloween until I explained the costume/candy connection. He then decided to be a ghost, which was good because that's about all I'd've been able to to whip up at the last minute. It involved cutting and ripping up one of our pillowcases and cutting holes for arms and eyes. It would have been a 1 minute costume, but I was compelled to take another 5 minutes to sew the two corners of the pillowcase together so the top didn't look pointy. Mission accomplished. He actually wore a costume and got his pumpkin full of candy.

His costume is so cute! You're very creative. When it comes to making costumes, I don't even know where to start. And sewing? I stick the needle in my finger more than in the fabric! :)
