Only in this town...

Okay so where to begin? This is my first blog so bear with me. My aunt decided to have a yard sale this weekend, and I was the only brave one to help her out with it. The first day of it was on friday.I cannot believe the junk people buy! Used kitchen appliances that are about 50 yrs old? Interesting. The kicker though was this old cigarette smoking cowboy who told my aunt, "i need a tub to soak my feet in." WHAT? Ew......................later on that same day some guy asked my aunt if he could use her bathroom. Of course she said no. Who would let a strange, huge guy use their bathroom, especially with Wal-Mart down the road?

My son was entertained by his cousins, and was as good as gold. He's such a great kid! My next blog will probably be a recap of our Lake Tahoe trip we are taking in a few weeks. We stay at a cabin in Incline Village for a great deal, and LOVE Sand Harbor.

Welcome to blogging!

Have fun in Tahoe. I've only been in the winter time, but I've heard it's a great vacation spot year round. Make sure to fill us all in.

I love having yard sales!  You never know who is going to show up and what they are looking for.  Yard sales are big here in Sac.

I'm having one as soon as I move into my new place.

I've only had about two garage sales, but I was truly entertained by the people.  I met some people that routinely go to garage sales every weekend; the people that will try to talk you down at any price; we sold our kitchen table to some college kids that needed a good "drinking table' to play drinking games. It was quite funny!
