Thanks Kim!  Not only was it a pleasure having your little family in our shop, but we love those baby blankets you make.  Especially the little one you call "Little Fingers", that your son had with him at the time of his visit.  I checked out your website www.snuggleupcreations.com and wow, you sure know how to make all the cute ones!  I think your new idea of having the ribbon loops on the "Little Fingers" blanket is unique and so adorable, you're going to be a great success!

See you guys again soon--

I took my 14 month old son to the Jack and Jillybeans salon today for his first haircut. This is my 3rd child, but probably the hardest of the 3 for me to make the big step of getting the first haircut. I have wanted to cut his hair for a few weeks, but every time I try to make the call I can't go forward with the realization that once his hair is cut he will be a big boy and no longer a baby. Mnow y other 2 kids are 12yrs and 14yrs old so it's been a long time since I have done the first haircut experiance.

I called  Jack and Jillybeans salon this morning and they got us right in for my son's haircut. We walked in the door and my husband, myself and our little guy were greeted very warmly by the owner Donna and her co-worker Deborah. Right away Deborah had us set our son in a little firetruck where she had a movie playing for him and toys for him to pay with while she cut his hair.  Deborah was great with our son. She was so patient and great at keeping him distracted so she could cut his hair. Our son never once fussed or was upset.

This was a great experiance for our son and for us during his first haircut. We will definately go back to them for future haircuts.

They were also very eager to share lots of information with us on how we can get our new business off the ground from experiences they had gone through getting their new salon to have continious customers.

Thank you for making this such a great experience.. I would reccomend this salon to anyone who needs a first haircut  :)

I went to this salon for the first time this last Saturday.  I loved it.  My son hates having his hair cut.  At least I thought he did.  He still cried and shook his head, but it was much better than if I had done it at home.  Donna was very understanding and helped me back off a bit so that he could accomplish this on his own.  She was awesome!  I recommend it to anyone.
