Baby's First Hair Cut

Baby's first haircuts can be fun! We have them ride in a special smaller car (Fire Truck) it's cozy, we turn on Einstien to watch (it's soothing), we give them a play cell phone to call daddy or grandma, and while they are pushing all the buttons we put a pretend Superman cape around their neck. If they fuss, we don't put it on them. Most moms know to bring a second shirt incase we get hair all over the first one. We do what ever it takes to make the baby comfortable. We have suckers, bubbles, and toy trains... We give you a Certificate with their name and date on it. We give you a special Envelope for the hair to go in. Most moms want to keep it for the baby book. We don't take their picture, so you'll want to bring your camera. Most first time haircuts bring daddy and the grandparents too. It usually only takes the kids a few minutes to get comfortable with us, then we generally have a great time! Everyone who works at Jack n Jillybeans Salon has lots of experience working with children. We are very patient and gentle with them, they like us! Little girls haircuts come with a complementary bow to match their outfit and sparkle spray for their hair if they want it. We have stickers and colored gels for the boys. 2 comments from 2 users

Thank you for the nice comment. Everyone who works at Jack n Jillybeans Salon has lots of experience working with children. We have all worked together at other shops and all of us have worked in kids shops. We are very patient and gentle with the children. I often hear moms say, "Wow that is the best he's every done getting his hair cut". They like us! and tell their friends-- Baby's first haircuts can be fun! Totally cool. I have been very hesitant to take my 15 month old son -- currently sporting a mullet unfortunately -- because I didn't think he would sit through a haircut let alone let a stanger near him with a sharp object. I will see you soon.
