Looks like we made it. The first year anniversary that is. Thanks to all the moms who bring their kids into our shop. We appreciate it! We've grown so much at Jack n Jillybeans Salon. We not only have five cars now for the little ones to ride in, we added another one. We didn't intend to have five video stations but after we got the idea to do that , it took on a life of it's own. The kids and dads love playing video games while they get their hair cut. It's so FUN! Moms from everywhere came to our shop this year, they like being able to get their own hair cut. We have the "mom station" near the play area, so they can get up during the hair cut if a little one needs attention. We made it really convient for them to get there hair cut without a baby sitter. For moms with several children this is ideal we found out. We added product shelves lastly, so now we can carry all the best shampoo's and conditioner's as well as styliing products. We have the hard to find kids products from "Circle of Friends". They even make a kids hairspray that smells like vanilla. Enviormentally friendly too. Well, we didn't finish the train mural for our shop, but someday....there's always next anniversary. Donna, Owner Jack n Jillybeans Salon I can't believe all the kids are getting ready to go back to school. The summer went by so fast at our shop. We recently got a product shelf, and we've filled it with the hard to find children's hair care products from "Circle of Friends" they not only smell wonderful, they work really well. Every little girl has dried hair from to much fun in the sun, and pool right now. We have the special shampoo that takes the green out just in time for back to school. Well, all the boys are really liking the new video games to play while they get their hair cut. And we are glad to spoil all our clients and their moms. Yes, we are now doing alot more moms, as they don't need a babysitter to get their hair cut at our shop. We make it convient for the whole family, and FUN is the number one thing, besides great hair! Come in and see us soon. It's so beautiful out now. All the little kids are coming into the shop to get their hair cut. For many of them it's their first one. They are soo cute! We have such a good time with them. It's sad when they leave, I think all of them want to stay all day and play with our trains, and toys. We give them a sucker so they don't feel so bad. With good byes, we say "See ya soon!"

We're catching on in a big way at Jack n Jillybeans Salon (for Kids) here in Roseville. Moms are coming from ALL over to see us Davis, Elk Grove, Folsom, and Auburn too. They love us! And all the moms are telling their friends about us. It's an exciting time for us. We recently expanded to include four new video stations for the older kids and dad's. We have a special Mom's station too. We've seen alot more parents getting their hair cut now. We're all smiles at our shop. Glad everyone out there likes us! Thank you so much. See you soon. Donna

Baby's first haircuts can be fun! We have them ride in a special smaller car (Fire Truck) it's cozy, we turn on Einstien to watch (it's soothing), we give them a play cell phone to call daddy or grandma, and while they are pushing all the buttons we put a pretend Superman cape around their neck. If they fuss, we don't put it on them. Most moms know to bring a second shirt incase we get hair all over the first one. We do what ever it takes to make the baby comfortable. We have suckers, bubbles, and toy trains... We give you a Certificate with their name and date on it. We give you a special Envelope for the hair to go in. Most moms want to keep it for the baby book. We don't take their picture, so you'll want to bring your camera. Most first time haircuts bring daddy and the grandparents too. It usually only takes the kids a few minutes to get comfortable with us, then we generally have a great time! Everyone who works at Jack n Jillybeans Salon has lots of experience working with children. We are very patient and gentle with them, they like us! Little girls haircuts come with a complementary bow to match their outfit and sparkle spray for their hair if they want it. We have stickers and colored gels for the boys.
