Never thought it would be this hard
Here we go again 4 a.m. Welcome back to reality!! Please tell me does it ever get better? She is going to pass up her mom soon Are you kidding me??? Green is great!!! It's good to know that your kids are at least honest It's Only Preschool....Should it bother me?? Hello New York!!!
Well we took off on the red eye last night, headed for my in-laws house in Long Island, NY. Flying the red eye has never been for me because sleep and a plane ride just dont go together. But when you have two young children and a 5 hr non stop flight, you hope they will sleep and make the flight a peaceful experience. By the time that we were waiting in line to board the plane it was about 11:30 pm(4 hrs past my youngest daughters bedtime) She was screaming and crying because I had picked her up so that we could board and she wanted to be walking around exploring(like a zombie). So now I was getting many dirty looks from other passengers in the boarding area and I could read their minds with them saying, "I hope that baby doesnt cry the whole flight" and just generally upset about the thought of having two young kids on the plane....By now, my stress level was starting to rise and all I wanted to do is get on the plane and get my girls settled and hope that they fell asleep. Finally it was time to board, Dad went before us to get the car seat all hooked in and me and my two girls followed along, praying that things could only go uphill from here....As we took off I looked over to see my 3 yr old watching cartoons and fighting sleep and my 14 month old ready to go another day, talking and playing and calling out to mama....thankfully we had some very nice people in front of us and she wasnt being bad, just happy and talking away....I guess you cant ask for much more then that.....about an hour into the flight, with her blanket over her head she soflty drifted off to dreamland..........now what am I going to do for the next 4 hrs while everyone is asleep...... 0 comments from 0 users
