I want my Earth Day back!!
Was anyone else a little disappointed about Earth Day this year?

Earth Day has always been a favorite for me and the kids. We look forward to spending the whole day there every year, and this year it was just not good.

I missed all the great performers, organic farms, artists, info, good food, etc.

I vented. I blogged on my blog at www.goddessinthegroove.blogspot.com, I wrote the Director, I responded to the article in The Bee. No reactions, to date.

Anyone else?

Yes. The Earth Day Fesitival I was stuck at all day (and luckily ran into you at) really sucked. Seeing you was totally the highlight!

I'm not sure what was up with all the live rap there? Not earth day at all. You'll have to come to Davis for the Whole Earth Festival and do it all over again.

Oh, you know I will throw on my goddess gear and be at the Whole Earth Festival :)!!! I went for the first time last year, and LOVED it. Hopefully, we can go on Sunday and Mr. Heike can come too :). Last year I bought the coolest broom there for $35+. It is handmade, and at first I thought it was crazy, but now I would do it again if I had to. I think that broom will last until I am 80, then I will ride away on it!!

:)

I know it, Hip Hop?? I mean, I love the Sugarhill Gang (yes, I am old), but this stuff stunk, and it was annoying. WHAT were they thinking????

Again, there has been no response to any emails I wrote. You can go to the ECO website and email the Director. Maybe he will wake up and smell the Fair Trade coffee???
