I'm writing this blog because I'm interested in things going on in Sacramento or any where close that is not a lot of money to attend. I have 3 boys 18,16,and 14 just recently widowed and trying to take over head of house hold and keep my children happy and busy but still yet do fun things with them with out spending a lot of money. So if anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

I don't know what your children enjoy sports wise but if you google Sacramento meetup.com, or something similar, they show a lot of clubs for cycling, hiking, water sports etc. Good luck Another thought is gold panning, free, except for driving to sites, buying cheap gold pans at around $5.00 each, and searching the net for local sites. Remember we live in the heart of gold country. This hobby can be fascinating, gets you outdoors, and can provide a workout too.

Welcome to SacMomsClub! I have a little one, so I am not too sure of what "big" kids like to do in this area. I will ask my high school students though and get back to you. The great thing about this site is that there will definitely be someone who can answer your question.
