Artsy Kid

I talk a lot about the talented kids at work, but haven't raved about my own kid in a while. Maybe that's because he's almost 15? Strange for me to say, but true. This morning he showed me some photos he had taken on his cell phone. Needless to say, I loved them. We go to art galleries quite often and he has been exposed to many different styles. He's always leaned more towards the modern style and you can tell. I personally see a little Warhol in these pics.

His sword at night with a color reverse. Cool effect!

The boys bathroom at school with a color reverse (my favorite)

There's more, but I think you get the gist. Hope you enjoyed! Now go make some art!

Something to be proud of, for sure! Its always such a treat to see their view of things. Kudos to you for exposing him to so much that he's able to find his own point of view in it all. You really are a role model for me. I only hope that my girls are expressive and creative as Man-Cub as they grow up.

WOW! How often do you start your day with a compliment like that! You're too sweet. I think it's important to just maintain that "inner child" in yourself and try not to let the restrictions and responsibilities make you TOO "grown up." Hahahah. If you can find the joy in life, it shows and your kids see it as well and hold onto theirs.

I think you're doing a WONDERFUL job of this with your girls.

those are great!  i really like the last one too.
what a great costume for next year's halloween-andy warhol.
you know the wig, the glasses, the babes on his arm.  (but without the drugs and the gunshot wound.)

That's a really funny idea (a Halloween costume of Warhol.) I LOVE it!
