Stupid Things That Make Me Happy
When my favorite song comes on the radio. When the confirmation letters you have to type in on various sites and blogs actually spell a word. When someone driving like a jerk passes you and later down the road you see them pulled over getting a ticket. When you get a great parking spot. When you hit a big sale and total things up in your head and they turned out to be even cheaper than the sign said. When I throw something away from across the room and it makes it in the can. When I take something into the dressing room convinced it’s too small and it fits. When you hit a long row of all green traffic lights. When the moon is full and I’m alone in my car with the moon roof open. When my plants don’t die right away (curse my brown thumb!) When I think I’m out of something and I find more. When my son makes it one whole day without rolling his eyes or sighing at me. Puppy kisses. Floating in a swimming pool. A hot, delicious coffee. When Jaws is on TV. When I beat my husband at a game. The smell of an art supply store. The sound of the air conditioner. The touch of a super soft blanket. 7 comments from 5 users

Those are all such great ones too wifemotherdaughtersister !!! I remember when I was little Sunrise Mall (in the 70's) had huge fountains inside the mall. They would do strange penny sculptures in them to go along with each holiday and the water was dyed blue. It would run off the sides into a little gutter and all around were benches people could sit on and take breaks. I would BEG my family to just leave me there to watch the water while they shopped. Your mention of the sprinkler just reminded me of that. The sound of running water is great, I agree! Thanks crzkb ! That's the one thing I love about being "fat" I could actually fall asleep in the pool floating. As a kid, I could never float. Now my DD's keep me up all day! Hahahah. posted by

finding out about a new author that I end up liking (I'm picky) being scheduled all day in meetings and then someone cancels and I get a free hour looking out the window and seeing that my husband is washing the cars I also love me some puppy love (as you know) looking through the pics on my camera and finding some really good candid shots that I didn't know where there posted by

Picking the right line when checking out at the grocery store.
Getting the last movie on the shelf that you really wanted to see at Blockbuster.
Rainbow sherbert on the top and double chocolate malted crunch on the bottom on a plain cone from Rite Aid.
And I'm right there with you Creatress, when something ends up being cheaper than you thought it would be. Little happy dance for sure.
