Saying Hello

I got a nice surprise yesterday. As I was driving home from teaching, I looked down to my lap and could see all the way to my seat, between my legs. Usually all I see is belly, so that's a pretty big deal for me. I was just a little excited about it (ok, told my husband first thing when he came home). The picture of the nice legs aren't mine (yet), but will be. Actually mine will look even better as I'm taller. Hahaha.

I've been eating great this week and working hard. I had a single serving of microwave popcorn and a diet caffeine free Pepsi last night as hubby and I watched Project Runway together. I was really enjoying the popcorn, till he came in with the brown sugar Poptarts and the smell made it to me. I stayed strong though and didn't even have one bite. I just thought how hot I'll look in my new swim suit on our vacation (that I ordered yesterday. It's the picture after the jeans. And yes, it's a tankini baby!). Yay!

Good for you.  I am trying it also, although I am doing weight watchers.  I lost 20 lbs before on it, then the pregnancy came and I had to stop.  But now I am going back on it hoping to lose another 20+.  Stick to it and enjoy your new boyd in your adorable tankini!

Thanks for the nice post. You made me smile. How's the WW going? Are you doing it on-line, or going to the meetings? It's good to have some community support. Glad you like the suit!

Woohooo!!!!

(I won't tell you what we call that lower-belly area. It's a little crass. You can message me privately if you really want to know.)      :)

Those jeans are AWESOME. I want a pair. And I love, love, love the tankini. You are hotness!

I am estatic for ya. Visual results so rock. I can relate to the tummy one because that is where my weight would go. On my tiny frame making me look preggo and me being single ugh lol just great I would think.

Keep representing hun it really is this simple and straight forward. Make some changes, change your intentions and results will come!

Congrats on the great work.  As a current WW member, I know the road you are on.  I have lost 103 lbs since August 29, 2006 (2 days before my daughter was born) and 70 of those have been in the year since I joined WW.  There are going to be hard roads, but well worth the work!  I am less than 20 lbs to goal, so you need any advice, motivation or a walking buddy, I am here!  Good luck!

Wow sgergis, that's amazing! 103lbs. I've never known anyone who lost that much. Thank you very much for the offer. From what I can see on your pic, you look great. If you live in Davis (which I doubt, but I'll mention), I'd LOVE to walk with you. Sadly, I think I'm the only one this far out and walking is hard enough for me to do without adding a drive to it too.

Thanks for the support ToscaSac,
you're great and always helpful.

I'm so proud of you! This is not easy. Tell your man to eat his pop tarts in the playroom. ;)

Thanks for keeping us up to date and inspiring me to dance along to Maddy's birthday mix. ;)

I have been working on my weight loss crusade for 4 1/2 months now...started with Nutrisystem and lost nothing in 6 weeks. I've now lost 20 lbs by cutting out most carbs and TRYING to keep portions small. Mostly, I have to exercise 4-5 times a week for 1.5 hours to see any movement on the scale. I really don't have time for this every day! I HATE it when my family brings sweets into the house because I cannot resist. I literally have to leave or throw the food away. I have 20 lbs to go and it's not getting any easier.
