To my Friends and Family,
Did you know that every day millions of people world wide are diagnosed with cancer every year?
Has it happened to you, a family member or someone you know?
This year my grandfather was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
For the past couple of years I have done several different events to help raise money to fight cancer and to fund cancer research.
This will be my second year participating in The Relay for Life event.
Incase you have never heard of this event, Relay For Life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and programs of your American Cancer Society. During the event, teams of people gather at schools, fairgrounds, or parks and take turns walking or running laps. Each team tries to keep at least one team member on the track at all times.
Relay For Life represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported, and that one day cancer will be eliminated.
When you have a moment please stop by my page and take a look around. You can view my story about why I choose this event and you can also make a donation to the cause. Just click on the link below to be taken to my page.
**Even if you can only donate a dollar. Every little bit helps.**
Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
Angie Schoonmaker
