It's never too late

Great day today considering the weather seems to be a little wacky. Some of you may have read that my mother is also on the same weight loss program as I am. I spoke with her today and she was so excited because she had not seen one of her sisters for almost three months and her sister was so amazed at how much weight she had lost. My mother is the oldest of 9, so her sisters look up to her. My mother started gaining weight after having kids, just like most mother. She has tried so many "diets" and has yo-yo so many times, that after a while I think she just gave up hope and pretty much settled how she was going to be. She pretty much changed her attitude after seeing how much weight my health coach had lost and seeing other success stories and how people that were much older than her had succeeded.

After seeing and reading about these other people that have struggled with their weight she made a commitment that she wanted to be a success story as well. I am happy and proud to be her health coach and help her reach her goal. She was discouraged at the beginning because in order to be considered healthy at her age and height, she needed to lose almost 100 pounds. That just seemed like a HUGE number that was unreachable. But she has taken it one day at a time and after 12 weeks she is halfway there. You see this is not a diet, this is program to help you lose weight and be healthy.  So if you've given up hope, you are not alone most of us have at one point in our lives. But there is still a chance to be healthy and happy again. You don't have to settle, you are the only one that can do something about it. And if you need help, I can help you just like I'm helping my mom whom I love and respect dearly.
