Hey you... guy in the blue Prius
Yeah, you...the guy that was honking incessently at me this morning as I was waiting to turn right on to Watt from Arden. What's the deal? Why are you in such a big hurry? It's not like I was daydreaming and there were no cars coming...the cars had a green and were wizzing by...I will turn when I feel it's safe. Do you realize that you honking your horn had the opposite effect? That's right, I took my time. And, when we got to the left turn lane at Alta Arden and I was a head of you, I laughed, because all that honking didn't get you anywhere did it? And I laughed even harder when the two cars in front of me went on green and the light turned yellow really fast and I could have gone through it, but I didn't. I put on my brakes and laughed again. But the icing on the cake was when my light finally did turn green and at that very same second, you honked again at me. Are you really in that big of a hurry? Slow down and relax, buddy...life's too short to be that wound up at 8:16 in the morning. I feel a lot better now, thanks. 3 comments from 3 users

It goes for all of the drivers out there that cannot wait for you to turn in to your subdivsion cautiously to avoid hitting a little one trying to cross the street, those who cannot wait for the pedestrian or crossing guard to clear the crosswalk before passing through, and to those who feel compelled to honk because your time is more valuable only to wind up sitting at the very same RED LIGHT I am! Everyone needs to slow down and set a new pace! I know I am in no hurry to get to work in the morning!

Oh so true! What a jerk. I HATE that and will do everything in my power to make people like that wait. Plus, Toyota horns are so whiney and annoying. Give me a Ford honk anyday (I drive a Toyota, so I know just how bad they sound.)
