Spring is Coming!
What a great weekend!

The weather put TD (TripletDad) in motion toward getting our backyard ready for Spring and Summer.  He is in charge of landscaping around here because he is more inclined and better at it.  He has been stalking the garden departments of several large home improvement stores and nurseries in the area.  And finally, Saturday, the new flowers were in stock!

The kids loved helping to pick out what to plant in our yard.  And then, they loved helping to plant them!  Finally, they are old enough to help with this annual rite of Spring, and really be helping, LOL!

Lately, with this warmer weather, the kids have been out in the backyard everyday.  They are old enough now that I feel comfortable sitting at my desk and work while they play outside.  The window by my desk has a view right out into the backyard and the door to the yard is directly behind my chair.  (Did I ever mention how small my house is?) They are having a great time with the backyard.  This is a great age!

And I have a feeling this will be a great summer!

I've been cleaning up our front and back yards now that the weather is great. I still have a mountain of mulch to move that I've been doing a great job of avoiding. Ugh.

It feels so good to then get to relax and enjoy your pretty yard! Especially when you have a tiny house.
