our favorite vacation spot is at grandma's house because of the great food, comfortable place to sleep and the over all great vibe and hospitality. I know its not an actual vacation spot but its definitely better than all the other places we have taken vacation on!

Our favorite summer vacation spot is Hawaii. The weather is comfortable and the scenery is just unbelievable. My daughter gets to play in the warm sand and ocean water. We also enjoy watching the fishermen on the docks. We like that the lifestyle there is so easy going. You really feel like there are no worries and you can enjoy every moment to its fullest.

Our family hasn't decided yet on a favorite spot!  My two toddler boys are so easy to please at this point with a jungle gym or an open grassy area to run around.  I can imagine them LOVING the Monterey Bay Aquarium though.  My husband and I enjoy that place every time we have gone and my boys love animals.

Our favorite family vacation spot is Capitola.  The beach is really small and the waves are small as well, so it's great for the kids!  They also have a really great downtown area with shopping and food.  I love going there because the beach is where I've always gone to relax!

Our favorite summer vacation spot is Lake Tahoe, which my daugther calls "Lake Taco."  We love making sand castles on the beach and playing along the shore.

Our favorite spot is the beach. It is close, and it is our Zen spot :). We take the dog, food, and our recently purchased 1976 Scooby Doo van :). Now that we have the van, we will do some beach camping too! Yippee!

Close runner up: Disneyland!! Yep. We went for a surprise vacation last year, and loved it just as much as the kids....

The cabins at Steep Ravine/Mt Tamalpais State Park; right on the ocean, rustic and close to Stinson Beach and Pt Reyes Station.

My favorite vacation includes doing anything outdoors or that includes nature.  One of my favorite places to go is a backpacking trip that I like to take up in the Trinity Alps.  Since you have to hike in there are always very few people there, lots of wonderful trails, lakes, streams, and quite.

A motor home where we travel however far we can get with a certain amount of gas money.  Three kids and two adults it too absurd to fly, too uncomfortable in an affordable hotel so we choose to follow the Griswald's in escapades around Northern and Southern California -- at least this year with gas prices.

So far we have ventured to Tahoe, McCloud, Oregon, Hearst Ranch - and hope to eventually make it to the Grand Canyon, Yosemite - if it survives - and the redwoods.  California has so much to offer that i'm sure we haven't even started to image where the motor home we cann "big bessy" can take us.
