It's Time to "BOO" Your Neighbors!
One of the great things about SacMomsClub.com is the community we are building in the region. As I read the posts and blogs I see how much we all have in common and how much we have to share with each other. So, here's my October share for all of you. With Halloween almost upon us, it's time for the annual tradition of "Boo"ing our neighbors. I have no idea where the tradition started, but it's definitely something my family looks forward to each year. We like to be the first ones to start the "Boo" and then we watch as each house puts the "Boo" gram on their door. This year I went to the dollar store to get my loot. You start with two baskets, bags or other Halloween theme containers and put some candy and cheap treats inside. Print out two copies of the "Boo" gram from this link http://www.theborkowskis.com/halloween/halloweenbooing.p df Then plan your strategy. You need to identify 2 neighbors to "Boo" and the key is to not get caught dropping off the goods. We like to do it early in the morning, we just leave the package and don't ring the bell. Some of our more adventurous neighbors ring the bell and run - the old doorbell ditch way. Whatever you do, just do it and have fun watching what you started spread throughout the neighborhood!
