Cut & Color
Hi all! Guess what! It's only taken me 9 years - but I'm actually starting to think of MYSELF! Whoo hoo! For the first time EVER I made an appointment to get a "cut & color" on Saturday late afternoon! I'm soooo excited! I've never had my hair professionally colored before - I've always just bought the box... It's always been cheaper. But you know what - I'm worth a little "me" time! Wish me luck! Next stop - mani-pedi... I haven't had either on 2 years!!! ugghh! If any of you have any suggestions of a location, please let me know! I don't have fake nails so I just get a regular manicure - but my feet are in dire need of some TLC! Hope you all have had a great week! Mine's far from over. Hi mom's! I am definitely going to try out Bees Nails too! (Key word - Sanitary!) I get my hair done at A & R Family Haircare, it's a small place in Rancho Cordova off of Olson Drive (In the Mervyn's parking lot). The gal that runs it is Robbie and she's great. She does a really good job and she's inexpensive. Not a frilly place by any means, but I'm not a big "hair" person (I think I made a joke there)... so I have always been the quick in and out type of chick. But she's never let me down! If any of you are down at the farmers market tomorrow morning off of X you'll get to see me there!! I think we're trying to meet at that the java lounge cafe on 16 & x at 11:00 a.m. if you guys can make it! Kids get a movie, we get coffee - woo hoo!

YAYYY!!! You go mom! You're going to LOVE having your hair professionally colored. It's worth every penny. Even when the roots go out and you go back to the box, your highlights will still shine through. You're in for a great day of pampering.
I don't know where you live, but my FAVORITE place for a mani-pedi in Sac (that I've actually been to) is Bees Nails. Here's a website with more info on them (including address). http://www.yelp.com/biz/bee... As I remember, their prices are good and they are very sanitary and health concious. They also do a bang-up job.
