No Name Business Moms meeting
Well we did it. We met last night in Elk Grove all 9 of us were there and it was fantastic. Thank you all for coming and some of you drove way far to meet. I was so excited when I left last night I had a hard time going to sleep. We started the evening around 7pm at Cassidy's 9625 E Stockton Blvd Elk Grove. I was so happy to meet moms that had been in the world of direct sales for years and had a wealth of information to share with us, "newbies" who had just started their businesses, other moms who are going thru the same issues as me. So what was the meat and potatoes of the evening? here is what I got from last night. Ladies feel free to add your comments: 1) were need a name for our group 1) Kathy Jesmont will be working with us as she is the creative mind behind Events Planner - Specializing in Craft and Vendor Fairs. Hi! I am also a stay-at-home mom who would love to join your group. I am not in direct sales, although I have been in the past. I just started my own business selling custom hair clips and am interested in networking with other moms and finding out about local craft and vendor fairs. OK ladies... its ON!!!!This time around April was kind enough to open her home to meet so... 1) Make sure you RSVP and stick to it (space is limited and if we are too many we may have to move the location) 2) Please bring a something to much on or drink Don't forget to bring business cards, flyers, info on your business, tips, ideas, thinking caps...lol Lets be creative with our marketing strategies. The point of the meeting is to network and swap ideas and leads and to relax with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Oh my goodness, this sounds like just what I need!! I am a newbie educational consultant for Discovery Toys and would love to join your group! I could use all the help I can get at working on my business. My upline is wonderful, but it would be nice to hear what others in similar situations as myself are doing to make their businesses successful.
