EcruCartwheel News...

Family Keepsake Storybook

I'm offering a nice price for illustrations for those that are writing or have written children's stories.  The price for printing a family keepsake storybook w/cd format is $20.  Check out my website www.ecrucartwheel.com

"Mommy, Do You Think of Me."

Everything is coming along nicely with the illustrations for "Mommy, Do You Think of Me".  I have already finished drawing the illustrations. I'm getting ready to add the coloring to 14 illustrations.  Once the printing is finished. We will save the illustration layout on a disc for future copies to be printed.

Story Illustrations

If you are still interested in illustrating let me know.  I can schedule a time for your illustrations to be done.  (Which, a lot of the stories entered into the contest should)

Women's Wisdom Art Show

I recently had the pleasure of submitting a picture for an art calling from the Asylum Gallery based here in Sacramento.  They ask local artists and artists around the world to submit a piece of artwork based on a chosen theme.

This year the chosen theme is "Global Warming: A Hot Time in the Old Town".  All artists are given a couple of months to submit their work through the mail or the Internet.

The art show will be exhibited May 24th to June 22nd and a reception held on June 14th for Sacramento's 2nd Saturday festivities.

The Asylum Gallery is located at 170 Southgate Road Sacramento, CA 95815 USA

The Asylum Gallery is an artist-run space that is dedicated to showing the best of contemporary art by regional artists and to giving back to the community.  All of the art shown will be sold for $5 and a percentage the proceeds given to the Women's Wisdom Project.  Asylum Gallery will donate 30% of sales proceeds to the Women's Wisdom Project, a nonprofit program of the Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services.

Along with the themed art showing.  The gallery will also be featuring handmade jewelery to be shown and available for purchase. Actress and Artist Cynthia Burdick will be featuring her Originally Handmade work called "CynStones".  Cynthia uses semi-precious stones, pearls and swarofski crystals in her beautifully designed necklace, bracelet and earing collections.

By the way... I was not aware that ALL of the pictures uploaded onto this site were publicly shown.  After creating an album, I was surprised to see them floating around on the home page.  lol.   I thought I was creating a personal album.  I don't know what happened.  So, I guess everyone is getting an exclusive look at the book illustrations I'm working on. lol.  :)
