"Mommy, Do You Think of Me."

Everything is coming along nicely with the illustrations for "Mommy, Do You Think of Me".  I have already finished drawing the illustrations. I'm getting ready to add the coloring to 14 illustrations.  Once the printing is finished. We will save the illustration layout on a disc for future copies to be printed.

A New Home, A New Opportunity

My husband and I just bought our first home here in the Sacramento area.  We moved in a couple of months ago and are just now starting to get settled.  We needed the space for all of our children and space or our individual work, hobbies, interests.

It has been an amazing introduction to our home owners experience.  Just after a few weeks of moving in, we lost our giant redwood tree in the back yard due to the storm this winter.  Right through our neighbors newly built fence.  It was an awkward way to meet our new neighbors but, thankfully, they were very understanding and had already had a storm damage claim.  They also have two little boys around the same age as my 2nd child.

We unpacked our boxes, set up our schedules, hung  a couple of curtains and had a really nice housewarming party.  Now, I just love looking out of the windows looking at the neighborhood. I hope the neighbors don't think I'm snooping.

My husband set up his work station in the garage.  He's an auto body painter. He does custom paint and repair.  The end of next month his being flown to Southern California to train for the big change in auto body paint. They are switching their paint line to A WATER BASED PAINT. To do their part in saving the environment.

I set up my studio and office.  I needed space to draw where the children couldn't make their own impressionistic contributions to my projects.  All of my previous drawings were "enhanced" and 'improved" by my 4 and 3 year old boys.  They love to draw and they are learning that drawings is for their paper only.

We are very excited to make our new Household.

It always feels good when you start to settle in and it feels like home.  It's even better to find out you have good neighbors.

Thank you for your kind comments. I really like this website. I love to see all of the supportive, busy mommies loving and sharing what they do.
