Down Syndrome Information Alliance Celebration of Hope: A Lively Expedition

Many know that over the last several months I have been working with an incredible committee to plan the annual fundraising event, The Celebration of Hope for the Down Syndrome Information Alliance, taking place Monday, November 10th.

This year's adult-only event is being held at the Esquire IMAX Theater in downtown Sacramento. The Esquire IMAX has graciously donated the facility!! Chipotle has donated the food and dinner for our volunteers. Pyramid Alehouse has donated the beer for the no host bar and The Bermudez Family Foundation has donated the wine! AND Mark S. Allen of Good Day Sacramento will be our Emcee for the evening!

Don’t you just love a night out at the movies?
Now that the majority of the planning is done, WE NEED YOU TO JOIN US and 250 guests!

How can you go wrong... Make it a date night or a night out with the friends and do something good at the same time!!!! An IMAX movie, food & fun for only $30 ... you really can't go wrong - and you can feel good about it because you are supporting an amazing organization that is making a HUGE difference right here in our local community!

Here's the details:

  • Monday, November 10, 2008
  • 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. (We recommend you be there by 5:30 to get checked in!)
  • Adults Only — Make it a date night!
  • Ticket cost: $30.00
  • No host bar & yummy tacos
  • Experience "Space Station 3D" in 3D IMAX splendor
  • Witness the official launch of our new book!
  • Shop a fabulous live and silent auction featuring jewelry, artwork, local
    attractions and MORE!
  • Support programs to improve the lives of people with Down syndrome
    in our community.

Visit our Web site www.downsyndromeinfo.org to purchase your tickets online today!
Proceeds will benefit the Down Syndrome Information Alliance (DSIA). Since 2004, the DSIA has been dedicated to raising awareness about the tremendous abilities of people with Down syndrome, individuals who are on a great journey of their own. We provide education, advocacy and support for families affected by Down syndrome to help them achieve their dreams. For more information, contact Jennifer Bourn at (916) 205-7749 or Jennifer@downsyndromeinfo.org.

Hope to see you there!
