Props to the Rivercats ... STAFF!

One of the things we did to celebrate my daughters birthday was going to the Rivercats Game. We went the night of her actual birthday.

Let's back up a bit. At school she brought these fabulous cupcakes frosted to look like  watermelons and everything was about her that day! At school she got this big paper crown that said Happy Birthday Natalie on it and she wore it all day.

ALL DAY. She wore it everywhere, even the Rivercats game and was SO proud of it. Everywhere we went people were saying happy birthday! It made her feel very special ...

When we got the Rivercats game, every single employee we walked past said happy birthday! The snack sales guy that was walking up and down the isles gave her a free giant red rope, one person gave her free popcorn, and then when we went to go buy tickets to do some of the kids games / bounce activities, the sales woman gave her an unlimited wristband and 10 tickets for Carter as a bithday present!

These employees made a huge difference in our night at the ballpark - my daughter felt so special and had a smile from ear to ear and my husband and I were impressed that the staff were freindly, caring and genuinely nice!

Obviously after that we headed to the team store and got them both Rivercats hats, baseballs and mini bats ... and in the end we will definitiely be going back :)

What a great story to share! It's so nice to hear when people are friendly.

And happy birthday to your girl!
