Train Town Mini City is a Favorite

Train Town just outside Historic Sonoma Square is a fabulous place to take the kids ... they have a little snack bar and some carnival syle rides like a airplances, small ferris wheel, carousel, dragon mini roller coaster etc.

But the BEST MOST AWESOME part of Train Town is the TRAIN and the mini city it takes you to! The train is a real miniature steam engine and is one of the only ones in existance. The main round house is always our first stop - the kids love to get up close and check oput the train details! We then play a bit in the train cars available to go inside and then we ride the train!!!

The track runs through the "wilderness" and you get to go through a tunnel, see waterfalls, animals and even go over different types of scale model bridges. The train takes you to a mini city to explore. There is a school house, church, general store, outhouses (check out my kids in the outhouses), firestation and more that you can play inside (great photo opps) and there are animals you can feed if you buy some food for a quarter!

The first few times we went to TT we did the train and the rides, but now we're smarter and we just buy TWO train passes for each of us and skip the rides :)
