Anyone been up to the snow lately?

Date night...
I was just curious to see how often other parents go out on a date night? Do you have a favorite place to go?

Sorry, I forgot about how often. At night? About 1nce a month. We try to do a lunch together once a month (but it usually happens twice a year) and a weekend away together once a year. Sometimes we'll go to the grocery store together or the farmers market early on a weekend while our son is doing the teenager-sleep-all-day thing. That happens about e/o week. I'd like to say it gets easier to find time together, but I don't think that's true till college (only then you can't afford it because of the tuition). Ahhh parenthood. posted by

Hi! My husband and I try to go out at least once a month. Our favorite is dinner and then walk around somewhere like a nature area or a bookstore. Our favorite restaurants are: Cheesecake Factory (huge plates of food, great drink called the Georgia Peach and of course, cheesecake), On the Border (great quesadillas and margaritas). In downtown, Ernestos is great (food, food, food - tortilla soup, enchiladas, anything). We also like going up to Auburn to Ikedas, grabbing a burger and going to a park for a picnic. Regardless of where we go, we're together and away from the kids! posted by

My husband and I have said we will shoot for twice a month for a date night or date day... so far we have gone to dinner and then another time to a movie so we met the goal for September. Our next adventure we plan to go to the indoor racecar place...I forget the name but you can have dinner and race on an indoor track a car that will actually go pretty fast. I haven't been yet but my husband went for a work function and he said it was a blast. We also will at some point spent a day in bed together with the kids somewhere else for a change ... we just have to find the brave sole willing to take a 14 month old boys boy and a newborn girl. I think we'll have to wait a while on the last one but it would be nice.

My DH and I try to go out every two weeks. We will eather go to a dinner and a movie,or go on a trip overnight to Lake Tahoe. We love the beauty of the lake and mountains. Some resturants we like here in town are Garcias,Seratellies,Applebees. I hope you find some time to go out. Jennie posted by

Ohhh good question. Honestly? Where we usually go is our favorite local drive through to get fast food. Change into jammies. Pop in a Netflick that we've had for a month and finally watch it together. Can you tell we've been together a while?
My favorite is still the traditional dinner and a movie though.
