Dine in Midtown or Downtown, See an Esquire IMAX® Film for Just $5, May 10-Aug. 20

(April 7, 2009 - Sacramento, CA) -- Dinner and a movie anyone? How about dinner and a $5 IMAX movie? The Esquire IMAX Theatre is kicking off a summer program that will help promote an affordable date night or family outing downtown.

Beginning May 10, guests just need to bring in a receipt for at least $20 from any midtown or downtown restaurant and they will be able to purchase a ticket to see Dinosaurs Alive 3D, Under the Sea 3D or African Adventure 3D for only $5. Or if they prefer to see one of the Hollywood films like Monsters vs. Aliens 3D, Star Trek, Night at the Museum 2 or

Transformers 2, guests can choose to take a $5 discount on a full-price ticket. Offer runs through August 20.

"It's important to us to help build traffic to all of the downtown and midtown businesses," said Doug Link, Esquire IMAX Theatre general manager. "Whether it's for a date night or family outing, this is an opportunity for the Esquire IMAX Theatre to support out local restaurant owners and provide affordable experiences for people looking to enjoy downtown Sacramento this summer."

About the IMAX Dinner Promotion

Offer Valid Sunday through Friday only at the Esquire IMAX Theatre in Downtown Sacramento. Guests must present a restaurant receipt from any downtown area restaurant that values at least $20. Tickets can only be purchased at the Esquire IMAX Theatre Box Office. Not valid for previously purchased tickets. IMAX Tickets are none refundable. Seats are reserved. Tickets must be purchased within 7 days of restaurant receipt. Up to four tickets can be purchased per $20 receipt. Offer starts on May 10th and is valid through August 20th 2009.
